An audit conducted on June 16, 2025, using the IBM Equal Access Accessibility Checker (Version 4.0.5) highlighted several areas for improvement. We are currently working on addressing these to  enhance the overall accessibility of the site:

  • Non-text Content: Providing accessible names for informative icons and graphics, especially SVG images, will ensure screen reader users understand their purpose (WCAG 1.1.1).
  • Forms and Controls: Associating labels with form controls, including buttons and input fields, will help users of assistive technologies understand their function (WCAG 4.1.2).
  • Link Purpose: Adding descriptive text to hyperlinks will clarify their destination for users (WCAG 2.4.4).
  • ARIA Implementation: Refining ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) role usage will create a more consistent experience for screen reader users (WCAG 4.1.2).
  • Orientation: Ensuring flexibility in screen orientation (portrait or landscape) will remove barriers for users who may have difficulty rotating their devices (WCAG 1.3.4).
